Measurement of Neutral and Charged Current Cross-Sections at HighQ2 H1 Collaboration

The inclusive single and double differential cross sections for neutral and charged current processes with Q2 between 200 and 30000 GeV2 are measured in e+p collisions with the H1 detector at HERA using the data taken in 1994-1997, which corresponds to an integrated luminosity of 37 pb 1. The data amount to an increase in statistics by a factor of twelve with respect to the analysis of the 1994 data alone. Substantial extension in the kinematic range towards high Q2 and x has been achieved. The Q2 evolution of the parton densities predicted by QCD is tested at large Q2 and x-Bjorken values up to 0.65. Predictions of the electroweak theory are confronted with the data, and the mass of the W is extracted from the Q2 dependence of the charged current cross-section.
